I just received my dog nail grinder this morning and I tried it right away. I have a new puppy with long nails, and she wants to play, and climb on everyone and everything, and scratching in the process of it all. I tried clipping her nails with a regular dog nail clipper and she was scurming, moving, winning, want to grab it, and it was hard to clip her nails. With this electric nail clipper I was able to grind her nails quick. She was still scurming, and trying to grab it but it was a quicker job. It makes a mild sound and at first she was a little freaked out, but it's not that loud. I just let her smell it, and I kept grinding. I highly recommend this grinder.
