Long nails can turn a sound paw into a splayed foot and reduce traction, and they can cause deformed feet and injure the tendons over an extended period. As the long nail hits the ground, the pressure puts force on the foot and leg structure.
Dogs get nervous around grinders? Here are a few solutions!
1- Start slow by just showing your dog the nail trimmer, and then give him a treat. Do this several times in a row to get your dog used to seeing the nail trimmer.
2- Hold the paw and gently grasp a single toe. Trim the very tip of the nail. Don't trim too much off at first, so you avoid exposing the quick. Reward your dog with praise and a treat after trimming each nail.
This French Bulldog Nail Grinder is equipped with a mute brass shaft and unique mute technology that's still powerful enough to gently remove thin layers of nail. Sensitive dogs will no longer get scared, making it a stress-free way for trimming a dog's nail.

My first, like test purchase from here. I really found this grinder to be a very pleasant surprise. Is in great quality and whats the most important, it works!!! My frenchie who fears clippers, now sat calmly and looked grinder to work - no fear at all! I really did not expect so positive change. Very happy!!! Also considering covid, delivery was fast - a lot faster than I imagined. Thank you so much!!!
I’ve been saving up hundreds and hundreds of dollars thanks to this grinder. Super strong for big dogs
Such an excellent scratching, now there are no problems with claws. the dog is not afraid and with pleasure makes a pedicure. do not doubt, buy, will not regret.
My dog gets horribly stressed wit grooming and nail clippinng. Purchasing this was my final attempt for at-home grooming and I am so happy to say that IT WORKED. She was calm and I was able to finish. Thank you! Thank you So worth it!!
I just received my dog nail grinder this morning and I tried it right away. I have a new puppy with long nails, and she wants to play, and climb on everyone and everything, and scratching in the process of it all. I tried clipping her nails with a regular dog nail clipper and she was scurming, moving, winning, want to grab it, and it was hard to clip her nails. With this electric nail clipper I was able to grind her nails quick. She was still scurming, and trying to grab it but it was a quicker job. It makes a mild sound and at first she was a little freaked out, but it's not that loud. I just let her smell it, and I kept grinding. I highly recommend this grinder.
