French Bulldogs are generally sociable and friendly, with a pleasant temperament and good personality traits, which makes them easy to train and quite adaptable. Despite its stoic nature, French Bulldogs are entertaining and very peaceful with other pets.  They are charming and very intelligent but can be stubborn sometimes, too.

Hygiene is very important for the quality of life of your French Bulldog, so it is advised that your French Bulldogs are kept in a clean and healthy environment.  For French bulldogs, they shed twice a year, during spring and fall. When this occurs, you should use a double-sided pet brush to remove excess hair. Schedule their baths monthly or as required if the need arises.  This is to help maintain the cleanliness of their coat and prevent loss of hair. French bulldogs have the tendency of getting infected easily due to their loose and flappy skin, and it is said that the wrinkles on their faces can harbor bacteria, especially when it is moist. In order to reduce the chances of disease and infection,  it is advised that you clean his flaps and folds with a soft damp clean cloth or a pet wipe, and dry thoroughly.

The dental care of the French bulldog should also be adequately taken care of. Ensure you brush his teeth should be brushed daily for thirty seconds. Maintain a healthy diet for your French Bulldog. Their diet must consist of a healthy balanced meal in the right proportion and can include fresh meat and other proteinous foods, foods that are rich in Omega-3 and 6 fatty acids such as salmon, tuna, etc. Avoid processed foods and fruits /vegetables as they can be harmful to their health.

Additionally,  French bulldogs are usually not the vocal type that barks too often, that is why they are the perfect companions for our kids. But if you find out that your Frenchie barks a lot, it is either something is wrong and he is drawing your attention to the strange occurrence, or he is naturally the loud type.  Whatever the case may be, you can curtail this feature by training him. Early training for your Frenchie is the right step to curb its stubborn nature and become sensitive to your commands make this happen with patience and persistence.
